软件工程组论文“Reinforcement Learning Based Curiosity-driven Testing of Android Applications”被选为29th International Conference on Software Testing and Analysis (ISSTA 2020)最佳论文，荣获ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award，论文作者是潘敏学、黄安（研究生）、王国新（研究生）、张天、李宣东。该论文工作由软件工程组团队独立完成，南京大学是唯一单位。

International Conference on Software Testing and Analysis是软件测试领域国际顶级学术会议，也是中国计算机学会推荐A类国际学术会议，已举办29届。该论文面向移动应用领域，针对安卓应用提出了一种基于强化学习的自动测试途径，通过50个开源安卓应用上的实验显示对比已有工作在代码覆盖和缺陷检测方面取得优势，并且发现了22个被确认的缺陷（其中7个已得到修复）。论文评审人认为“This is a really inspiring paper”、“This is a really exciting idea”、“This could be a breakthrough for research and practice”。
