Title:  Software Systems Research at UC Davis: An Overview

Presenter: Prof. Zhendong Su

Time: 14:00PM July 3rd, 2012

Location: Room 233, CS Building, Xianlin Campus

Abstract:

This talk gives an overview of our multi-faceted research at UC Davis in the general area of software systems. Our work spans programming languages, software engineering, and computer security. The main thrusts include the design of novel programming paradigms and language features, capturing and reusing programming knowledge, program synthesis for end-user programming and education, testing and analysis of numerical software, database and web application security and reliability, and empirical analysis of  software. I will outline our vision and directions for the coming years.
